Comparison of Fracture Resistance of the Endodontically Treated Roots with Two Sealer Types: An In Vitro Study

نویسندگان

چکیده

Introduction: This study aimed to compare the fracture resistance using a bioceramic sealer and an epoxy resin-based sealer. Materials Methods: One hundred maxillary central incisors were randomly assigned three experimental groups: AH Plus single-cone technique, lateral compaction SureSeal Root sealer, two positive negative control groups. Then of prepared tooth roots was determined. The data analyzed with one-way ANOVA Tukey Post Hoc tests. Results: There statistically significant differences between five groups (P < 0.001). no difference Sureseal = 0.183). 0.05). Conclusion: significantly increased teeth compared

Effect of two types of composite fibers on fracture resistance of endodontically treated maxillary premolars: an in vitro study.

AIM The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of the use of composite fibers (glass fiber and polyethylene fiber) at the gingival third of mesio-occlusodistal (MOD) cavities on the fracture resistance of endodontically treated premolars. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 45 extracted premolars underwent endodontic treatment. MOD cavities, 2.5 ± 0.2 mm thick at the buccal and ling...

Fracture resistance of endodontically treated roots after restoration.

This study evaluated the shear strength resistance of endodontically treated roots that were restored by two different techniques. Twenty-seven recently extracted single-rooted teeth with similar anatomic characteristics were sectioned to obtain the same length for all specimens. Group I (GI) consisted of 14 roots restored with cast post-core (nickel-chromium alloy) and cemented using zinc phos...

In Vitro Evaluation of the Effect of Tooth Structure Loss on Fracture Resistance of Endodontically Treated Teeth

Introduction: Since preserving the structure of treated teeth is a critical success factor, studying the effects of tooth structure loss on fracture resistance of the tooth tissue appears necessary. The aim of this study was to evaluate the consequences of the loss of different tissues regarding fracture resistance of teeth undergoing root canal treatment without the use of indirect restoration...
